Welcome to Paranormal Manor, a place dedicated to exploring the strange, the mysterious and the unexplained.

I’m Carrie Woodman, creator and host of Paranormal Manor, and my fascination with the paranormal has been with me for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a house directly opposite a graveyard in a little English village steeped in history, the world beyond the ordinary always held a particular fascination for me, and it stayed with me my whole life. As an adult, I lived in two houses, both of which I believe were haunted. Experiences in those homes for me and my children were difficult to dismiss and firmly cemented my belief that there is far more to our world than meets the eye.

From ghostly encounters and poltergeist activity to haunted houses, unexplained photographs, UFO sightings, cryptids, witchcraft and the even stranger corners of the supernatural, there is no shortage of stories worth exploring – and that’s where Paranormal Manor comes in. Think of the Manor as a place with many rooms, each featuring a different aspect of the paranormal. You can settle into the Parlour for conversations with fascinating guests, visit the Library for chilling true ghost stories, step into the Nursery for tales of haunted dolls, or venture up to the attic, where ghostly encounters and unexplained happenings come out of hiding. Through interviews, paranormal investigations, listener submissions, stories and a weekly dose of Boo!News, we’ll explore experiences from around the world and closer to home.

I’m not here to tell you what to believe. Some stories may leave you convinced, others may have you questioning everything, and a few might have you wondering whether someone has been watching too many horror movies! What I do believe is that every unexplained experience deserves to be heard, every good mystery deserves a closer look, and sometimes the most interesting question isn’t whether it’s real… but what if it is? So, whether you’re a lifelong believer, a sceptic, a ghost hunter, or simply someone who enjoys a good story that sends a shiver down your spine, there’s a room waiting for you.
